Orchard House - Northampton (OHN)

We are a Supported Accommodation (SA) provider near Weston Favell, in Northampton.  We started out with Orchard House, which was a former foster home, that accommodates up to 7 young people aged 16+ that are starting or continuing their pathway to independence and leaving care. A a 24/7 staffed home, it provides all the healthy aspects of shared living to support them to feel a sense of stability in a safe and secure home environment.  We now have several other homes that are available to young people in care.

Whether transitioning from foster care or residential homes or young people that are new to local authority care; we help all young people by settling them in a new home and supporting them to develop key life-skills for independence, daily living and routines and maintaining healthy well-being... all for gaining good independence skills in preparation for adulthood and living independently.

OHN's fully staffed, shared homes, aim to achieve a high standard of accommodation, along with staff, who are experienced with working with young people and adults, who may be considered neurodiverse or who have needs that benefit from a really supportive environment tailored towards building resilience and understanding, developing skills and creating more social inclusion for all young people.

Our aim is to empower all young people to develop self-reliance & self-care skills and be supported to make their own decisions for their future which will support a successful transition for safer independence in adulthood.
